Join us every Friday for Salsa Lessons + Social Dancing, with San Francisco-based, award-winning instructors, Ava Apple and Rodolfo Guzman. Advanced (online) registration for the class is only $10.00. Walk-ins: $15.00. Students can stay for the live band performance at 9:30 PM.
About The Instructors
Ava Apple, a San Francisco native, started dancing as a child, and has been teaching & performing since her teens. She has performed & taught throughout the Americas, Hong Kong, Italy, The Netherlands, and Israel, and has danced competitively throughout the US in Salsa, Hustle, Theater Arts, American Rhythm, and West Coast Swing, winning many titles along the way with her various dance partners.
Rodolfo Guzman, a native of Mexico City, Mexico – grew up listening to the classic Mambo music that his father loved to dance to. Rodolfo started taking classes from Ava in 2002, joined The Latin Symbolics in 2004, and became Ava’s dance partner in 2005. Their first performance together was at “Festival Borincano 2005” in Puerto Rico. Together, they have taught & performed at various venues including the Reno Bachata Festival, SF International Bachata Festival, West Coast Salsa Congress, Chicago Salsa Congress, and Puerto Rico Hustle & Salsa Festival, to name just a few!
